Strengthening Youth policies and Institutions in Guinea-Bissau

Based on the work carried out in 2021, Interpeace is now working to enhance youth related policies and institutions through a participatory approach broadening the participatory base by including young women, rural youth, and traditionally marginalized groups. With these initiatives, Interpeace aims to empower youth organizations, providing them with enhanced agency and independent access to influence their policy and institutions. Key elements of the project include a participatory evaluation of the National Youth Policy developed in 2015, raising awareness among youth, government institutions, and stakeholders, as well as strengthening collaborative monitoring and advocacy mechanisms led by youth at regional and national levels.
