Meet Aimerance Bubuya, a promising Young Innovator hailing from the Democratic Republic of Congo. Mentored by Action pour la Paix et la Concorde (APC) under the Great Lakes Youth Lab programme, she is a driven 26-year-old with a determination for success. Currently serving as a research assistant at the Institut Supérieur d'Agro-Foresterie et Gestion de l'Environnement in Bukavu, Aimerance is committed to fostering education, particularly empowering girls to pursue higher education, and envisioning a future where young individuals, especially from Bunyakiri, have equal access to educational opportunities.

Her passion goes beyond academia; she is dedicated to promoting peace and facilitating conflict transformation on a global level. Her commitment to these causes is truly inspiring and reflects her desire to make a positive impact in the world.
