Join the live screening and discussion of the Stockholm Peace Talks at the Palais des Nations.
Following on from the successful Geneva Peace Talks series, initially organized by the United Nations Office at Geneva, the Geneva Peacebuilding Platform and Interpeace, the Peace Talks are going global.
First stop: Stockholm, exploring what peace means to you.
Amongst our distinguished speakers, we will be hearing Jan Eliasson, Deputy Secretary-General of the United Nations, discuss conflict mediation. Swedish Foreign Minister Margot Wallström, and Forest Whitaker, artist, social entrepreneur, and UNESCO Special Envoy for Peace and Reconciliation, will also be sharing their experiences at the Stockholm Peace Talks. The full list of speakers can be found here.
We will be bringing the Stockholm Peace Talks to you with a live screening and discussion of the event at the Palais des Nations, connecting International Geneva and the Geneva experience with this global event. Our viewing party will kick off 30 minutes prior to the start of the Stockholm Peace Talks with a discussion of what peace means to YOUth, getting us all to reflect before joining Stockholm.
