Chair of Interpeace, President John Kufuor, to accept World Food Prize 2011

On Thursday 13 October 2011, Chairman of Interpeace, President John A. Kufuor, will be joining H.E. Luiz Inácio Lula da Silva, former President, Federative Republic of Brazil (2003-2010) to accept the 2011 World Food Prize at 7pm in Iowa.

Interpeace congratulates President Kufuor on being a joint winner of the prize and for his efforts to improve food security and reduce poverty during his terms as President of Ghana between 2001 and 2009.

The World Food Prize recognizes the achievements of individuals who have advanced human development by improving the quality, quantity or availability of food in the world.
